Surrounded by beautiful spacious gardens and tranquil environment with a cultural theme is Hoima Cultural Lodge a member of Uganda CulturalLodges situated in Hoima district, the northern part of Western Uganda opposite the Bunyoro Palace. Hoima Cultural Lodge is a perfect break from road trip between the Murchison falls and Kibale which helps clients rejuvenate for the rest of their journey. The lodge offers spacious en-suite grass thatched cottages ideal for couples and families with each room brightly colored and furnished with African Art pieces which give clients an African feel.

Accommodation:
Twelve cottages are available with 2 tipple rooms, 6 twins and 4 doubles that can also be used as single rooms. The rooms are clean, airy with wide windows and a comfortable seat inside with each room having a phone and sitting area.
All rooms have spacious bathrooms with gorgeous designed tiles that add a touch of warmth to your room. Each bed is beautifully surrounded with a wide mosquito net. Each cottage has a private balcony overlooking the lounge, fireplace and gardens. These cottages are within walking distance to trails of the lodge.
All of our cottages evoke a feeling of comfort and convenience combined with African design and charm that is tailored for our clients’ needs. Solar lighting is used at the lodge and in each cottage to light the side bed lamps. We also use solar for heating water.
Charging equipment at the lodge use a voltage of 250 Watts and visitors can charge their equipment in the room at any time. Room service is available and you can order for breakfast from any time you want in the morning until 10:00 am.

Breakfast and Dinner are served in a cozy ambience where you get to appreciate some of the tastiest and satisfying dishes that are prepared by our full-time chefs. The menu includes both African and International cuisines for your enjoyment. We go an extra mile to make our clients have an exciting stay with us with then having hands on with the meals if they wish to by taking part in preparing some of the African meals in our contemporary kitchen. Our comfortable lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet time with the breeze coming through. The Lounge’s most prominent features are the African Art crafts and wood that makes up the walls. You can further enjoy a light drink as you look at the great views that never fail to impress.

- Hiking at Musaijja Mukulu hill – This hill is Historic as it is where Ssekabaka Mwanga and Omukama Kabalega fought for land and power back in the days.
- Community walks – Here you will walk down to katasiha Fort where Omukama Kabalega’s cave is found and known as the magic hiding place where he could hide and the whitesloose him during battle.
- The Kibiro Hot Springs and Salt Gardens are found 35km North of Hoima Town in Kibiro fishing village, Kigorobya Sub-county near the shores of Lake Albert. A high escarpment is about 100 meters east of the springs and Lake Albert is less than a kilometer away west of the springs. The water from the spring is continuously boiling at 100 degrees asevidenced by the water bubbles. Fresh eggs, sweet potatoes, Irish potatoes, cassava or bananas can boil in the hot spring within a short time. The subterranean hot salty water from the springs forms a water stream which meanders until it pours in Lake Albert. Aquatic animals and salt processing is also seen in this area.
