Kitela Lodge

Luxury, relaxation and African elegance in a spectacular refuge in middle of the mountains.

Kitela Lodge rises up on the hillside of a valley with beautiful views of a coffee plantation and a waterfall within the incredible highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It consists of 20 colonial style cottages surrounded by beautiful gardens, a coffee plantation and a working farm.

In the setting of the majestic mountains, this exclusive hotel is a haven of peace and comfort with all the attentions and the luxury of a traditional country villa. The relaxation the spa offers and its swimming pool are the perfect contrast to the intense excursions and safaris available from the lodge to the Ngorongoro area.

Farm House Valley – Ngorongoro

After a long day of emotions on safari in Ngorongoro relax in a more exclusive accommodation.

Farm House Valley was built on a 500 acre plantation with a main central building with a restaurant and leisure area. Every afternoon a fire is lit and drinks and snacks are available for guests whilst they share their experiences of the day and compare the different animals they have seen in the park.

The whole hotel has been conceived to offer the maximum comfort and a touch of luxury in an impressive scene. The ideal place to relax, have a swim in the pool, go jogging or let yourself be tampered after a day of adventures.

Tloma Mountain Lodge

Enjoy an exclusive meal with products produced on the estate or relax in the heated swimming pool which overlooks the foothills of the Ngorongoro crater.

Tloma Lodge has been built on the foothills of the highlands of Ngorongoro, a small and exclusive lodge with 24 small cottages built in colonial style and 12 rooms overlooking the garden in the main building. The design of the entire complex looks to create an atmosphere evoking the colonial plantations and farms described in many books and films.

The excellent location of Tloma on the top of a valley offers fantastic views over a coffee plantation and the walls of the Ngorongoro cráter which can be enjoyed from the private terraces of the rooms..

The gardens, full of flowers and bushes, are particularly attractive, although guests find it difficult to choose between a walk around the gardens or relax around the heated pool.

Ngorongoro Farm House

Live the legendary atmosphere of past times on a colonial style coffee plantation farm house.

Hand plaited thatched roof tops, ample verandas and colonial interiors at Ngorongoro Farm House, a small and exclusive hotel built on a 500 acre coffee plantation, all of which has been designed to take you to the comfort and style of past times.  Take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens or enjoy the spectacular sunsets with the Oldeani volcano as a backcloth.

A wonderful stop-off during a safari on the north circuit of Tanzania and a privileged place from where one can visit the crater or enjoy activities such a walking safaris to the volcano or excursions to Lake Eyasi on the Rift Valley still inhabited by the Hadzabe tribe.

Kubu Kubu Tented Camp

Explore the endless plains of the Serengeti from Kubu Kubu Tented Camp.

Kubu Kubu is the latest addition to the portfolio of properties of Tanganyika Wilderness Camps. This camp is strategically located to ensure that all areas of the Serengeti are within reach of our guests, including legendary locations like the famous Maasai kopjes, the Museum of Olduvai Gorge, Seronera and the Grumeti River.

It has been designed with a modern African decorative style that creates a fresh and bright atmosphere, but very cozy and with the right amount of luxury. Guests can attend to the show of the Great Migration from the comfort of their tents.

Kambi ya Tembo

Old Maasai traditions with the snow topped peak of the Kilimanjaro in the background.

With views of the Kilimajaro and the endless plains of the African savannah, Kambi ya Tembo is a spectacular camp situated on the north face of the Kilimanjaro with fantastic views of Amboseli and where one can enjoy the wildlife in the front line.

The camp is located in Sinya, a 600 square kilometres concession which offers incomparable scenery with magnificent views of the Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and the Ol Doinyo Longido and Ol Doinyo Orok peaks. It is one of the only places in Africa where one can observe large bull elephants more than 50 years old with enormous tusks.

The Maasai settlements, known as “bomas”, are scattered around Sinya. The Maasai in Sinya continue to live traditionally, dressed in their colourful blankets and celebrating their traditional ceremonies. They aren’t as used to seeing tourists more common in other areas visited by visitors.

Lake Masek Tented Camp

Witness the early morning mist rise on the banks of Lake Masek.

From the private terrace of your tent you can observe the wildlife of the area.  Many animals visit the lake in search of water and therefore this camp is in a privileged observation point.

Besides, this area is the principle setting of the Great Migration which takes place from December to April and the Big Five visit the area.  The camp is set-up every year in a different part of the area, to make sure that you will always have the best place to see this impressive spectacle from your own tent.

In addition, the camp is ecological without losing in comfort and attention.  The electricity is generated by solar panels and the water is rain water collected during the rains.  All the products used are biodegradables.

Lake Burunge Tented Camp

Be a privileged spectator from this luxury camp on the shores of Lake Burunge.

From the elegant wooden central platform where the Lake Burunge Tented Camp restaurant stands it’s possible to watch the lakeshore waiting for the animals that come to drink there.

Because the camp is strategically located in the natural corridor between Manyara and Tarangire, so the spectacle of the migration it’s guaranteed. The camp is located 10 minutes from the entrance to the park known as Sangaiwe.

This camp is the perfect place to relax in comfort after a day of gamedrives in Tarangire, simply carried away by the breeze and the colors of the African sunset from your private terrace.

Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp

Allows you to immerse yourself in nature in this bushcamp.

Ndutu Kati Kati is a seasonal mobile camp strategically situated in south Serengeti from December to March. Ideal for exploring the extensive south of Serengeti and witness the migration.

The camp offers comfortable accommodation together with the unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari experience on a camp. In its comfortable tents one will feel completely immersed in the surroundings and one can enjoy the rich animal life and vegetation of the area. An original form of accommodation which resembles the old camps of the first explorers in Africa, with all the commodities of today.

Located at a one-hour drive along a panoramic route from Seronera (Central Serengeti) and 30 minutes from the Olduvai Gorge. The camp has been designed to cause a minimum impact on the environment. All the infrastructure is mobile and the philosophy of the company is not to leave anything behind after dismounting the camp.

Live the journey of your life in an exclusive camp in Southern Serengeti.

Situated between the centre and south of Serengeti.  Between December and March this is the most important area of the Migration spectacle. The camp has three different locations during the year depending on the movements of the Migration.

This luxury camp allows guests to be in the proximities of the Great Migration and to explore remote areas and the beautiful settings of Serengeti with a large quantity of resident wildlife.  The camp has only ten tents which ensures intimacy and exclusivity from this intense experience.

Bologonya Under Canvas

Live a genuine safari in Northern Serengeti and don’t lose sight of the Great Migration.

Bologonya Under Canvas changes location three times a year within north Serengeti to be able to be in the heart of the Great Migration, from the plains where the wildebeest have their young to the humid pastures at the end of the route.

Therefore, this exclusive camp allows guests to enjoy less visited areas and to explore remote areas in the beautiful settings of Serengeti.

The camp consists of only 10 double tents and 1 familiar tent to ensure the exclusivity and intimacy and thereby enabling the experience of an authentic safari with the comfort of luxury accommodation.

In Bologonya Under Canvas you will enjoy days of emotion and safari trying to trap with your eyes and your camera the Big Five (perhaps it’s easier than one thinks, on occasions the buffalos graze close to the camp nearly entering the tents).

Mara Under Canvas

Be impressed by the natural beauty of Northern Serengeti.

Mara Under Canvas is the closest camp to the river Mara where each year enormous columns of wildebeest cross the river, negotiating the jaws of the hungry crocodiles, in order to get to the pastures on the other side in what could be considered the climax of the Great Migration.

This luxury temporary camp is open from June to November. It allows visitors to be in the proximity of the Great Migration and to be able to explore remote areas and the beautiful settings of Seregenti with a large amount of resident fauna. The camp has only ten double tents and a family tent which assures the intimacy and exclusivity of this intense experience.
