Lower Zambezi Wilderness Expedition

Duration: 3 NIGHTS / 4 DAYS
Lower Zambezi National Park is a stunning wilderness area in southeastern Zambia, stretching along the northern bank of the mighty Zambezi River. This relatively undeveloped park offers a pristine safari experience with activities centered around the river, including canoeing, boat safaris, fishing and game drives. The landscape features a dramatic escarpment, floodplains, and dense riverine forests teeming with elephants, buffalo, lions and an abundance of hippos and crocodiles in the river channels. The park lies directly opposite Zimbabwe’s famous Mana Pools, creating a vast transfrontier wildlife sanctuary.
Access to Lower Zambezi is typically via chartered flights from Lusaka to 3 main airstrips Jeki, Royal and Kelefu airstrips, all within the park, with a flight time of approximately 30 minutes.

  • – Catch-and-release tiger fishing in one of Africa’s premier fishing destinations
  • – Intimate wildlife encounters in an uncrowded wilderness setting
