Day 1: ARRIVAL
Transfer from the airport or Luxor pier (4 hrs drive) to your hotel in Hurghada. Perhaps and evening stroll into the historic town before dinner.
Day 2: CHARMS OF HURGHADA
The beach and ocean are key to Hurghada’s charms, so spend your first morning enjoying the sands, swimming, or joining a scuba course or a trip on a dive boat. Alternatively, if you’re keen to explore on land, consider getting your bearings with a Hurghada city tour that includes shopping for souvenirs in the El Dahar bazaars and seeing landmarks like the Al Mina Mosque and the Hurghada Marina.
Day 3: A DESERT ADVENTURE
Morning at leisure at the pool or optional activities on the beach.
Head out on a desert adventure: Roar across the plains aboard an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) to a Bedouin village or ride a 4WD into the sands for dinner and a stargazing session.
Return to your hotel.
Day 4: WATER SPORTS DAY
Wallowing in Hurghada’s Red Sea waters, enjoying the beaches, and diving into water sports. Join a cruise to the idyllic Giftun Islands or Dolphin House marine reserve to spot wild dolphins, laze on white sands, snorkel over bright corals, and enjoy other water sports like banana boats.

Day 5: DEPARTURE
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Hurghada 1,001 Nights (Alf Leila Wa Leila)
The open-air theater at the Hurghada Alf Leila Wa Leila hotel plays host each evening to the spectacular Fantasia show, often known as Alf Leila Wa Leila (1,001 Nights. The 2,500-capacity space delivers a feast of Arab, Bedouin, and Egyptian culture, folklore, history, and dance, complete with a horse show and an illuminated fountain.
Sand City Hurghada
On the outskirts of Hurghada, Sand City boasts around 60 giant sand artworks in an open-air park. Created by talented global artists, the works span everything from giant sculptures of ancient pyramids and pharaohs to reliefs of mythical beings and cartoon characters. A kids’ sand-sculpture workshop area and souvenir stalls complete the picture, promising a fun family outing.
