Mukambi Safari Lodge
Where the River Runs Wild and the Wilderness Feels Like Home.Zambia
Welcome to Mukambi Safari Lodge, affectionately known as “The Gateway to Kafue National Park.” Perched on the tranquil banks of the Kafue River, this intimate lodge offers a harmonious blend of comfort and wilderness. Guests are immersed in untamed beauty, where impalas, hippos, elephants, baboons—even the occasional leopard or lion—roam freely around the lodge grounds. Each space is thoughtfully designed to echo the surrounding environment, with thatched ceilings, wooden decks, and panoramic river views.
Whether you’re returning from a thrilling game drive, a river fishing adventure, or a bushwalk, the lodge offers serenity at every turn—unwind in the infinity pool overlooking the river, sip a cocktail in the open-air lounge, or indulge in a massage to the soundtrack of the wild. Browse handcrafted goods at the curio shop made by local women, or gather around the fire with guides who know every inch of the land. Mukambi is more than a stay—it’s an experience woven into the landscape of Zambia’s most iconic national park.
