The Michamvi Sunset Bay Resort is an intimate, owner-managed boutique resort located on Chwaka Bay, Zanzibar’s serene southeast coast. The resort is small and boutique, with 20 rooms only, divided into these categories:
Standard Rooms- Garden or partial sea view
- Air-conditioned, ensuite bathroom, terrace or balcony
Deluxe Rooms- Closer to the beach with sea views
- Larger layouts, upgraded décor, private terraces/balconies
Family Rooms (available on request)- Interconnected rooms or larger units suitable for families
- Same amenities as deluxe, with additional bedding
All rooms are styled with a blend of Zanzibari character and modern comforts (air-conditioning, mosquito nets, minibar, safe, Wi-Fi access, and private bathrooms).
